WildFly Elytron

2025 — present

Contributed test coverage to WildFly Elytron, the enterprise Java security framework powering authentication and TLS in Red Hat's WildFly application server. Work spans OIDC path resolution, JWT token validation, and dynamic TLS SSL context selection by hostname — all security-critical subsystems inside a production codebase.

Log Ingestion & Search System

2026

A self-built log ingestion pipeline with a custom inverted index for full-text search. Designed to demonstrate practical infrastructure and systems knowledge beyond framework-level work — the inverted index is hand-rolled rather than delegated to a third-party search engine.

Self-hosted Home Lab

Ongoing

Administered a personal Debian server running multiple self-hosted services. Hands-on Linux systems work covering service management, networking, and server hardening — the kind of infrastructure experience that doesn't come from coursework.

About

I'm a computing student completing a Pearson BTEC HND in Sri Lanka, with the goal of a BSc top-up and eventually graduate study in cybersecurity or network security abroad.

My work sits at the intersection of software and infrastructure. I'm drawn to security tooling, DevSecOps, and systems that have to be correct — not just functional.
